The 2017 Utah Fly Fishing Hall of Fame continues the tradition begun last year to honor those men and women who have made major contributions to fly fishing in Utah. The contributions have taken many forms from conservation projects, political activism to protect the resources, environmental projects, formation of organizations such as Trout Unlimited (TU) and Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) Chapters to promote fly fishing and to enhance the fly fishing experience in Utah, promotion of youth fishing education programs, and many more kinds of activities. These contributions are described in their individual bio sketches (see top of page). The contributions for the candidates have been performed over their lifetimes and all have immensely benefited fly fishing in Utah. All Utah TU Chapters and the Bonneville Fly Fishers Chapter of the FFF and Great Western Fly Fishers were given the opportunity to submit nominees for this award.

You can cast up to four (4) votes. The four nominees with the most votes will be selected for 2017. Nominees not selected this year are eligible in future years. After this year, two persons will be selected in each subsequent year. We encourage you to read all of the bios for these nominees as each and everyone has made fishing in Utah more enjoyable!

All Utah fly fisher men and women are eligible to vote for their Hall of Fame Selections

1. On the top of the page, Register to Vote, then Log In to Vote. If you voted in the 2016 Hall of Fame, you should still be registered so you can skip this step. Just go to the login step. Once you are logged in, click Home tab on the menu or the blue banner on your dashboard page to go to the home page to vote.

2. On Dashboard Page, Click on box -- "Utah Fly Fishing Hall of Fame" -- to return to Home Page, you may also click the Home tab on the top menu in your member admin.

3. The nominees are shown below. Click on Nominee Bios on the top of the page to learn about each nominee. Note, you must click on "their name" or the word "bio" below the nominee's picture.

4. Once you have selected a nominee to vote for, click on their photo below which takes you to a page with larger photo and click on Vote button below photo.

5. Nominees are shown in random order.
